Job summary

Philips is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to provide technical leadership for capital equipment development. You will translate clinical, customer, business, and regulatory needs into robust system solutions, drive end-to-end design, risk management, and verification activities, and collaborate across disciplines to ensure timely delivery.

The role requires a strong background in systems engineering for regulated medical devices, with experience in design controls, traceability, and tools

Responsibilities

• Lead system design and architecture for projects, including requirements development, interface definition, design decisions, and technical trade-offs.
• Translate clinical workflows and regulatory requirements into clear, testable system requirements.
• Drive system risk management, verification and validation planning, and design reviews with cross-functional teams.
• Manage project scope, schedules, resources, risks, and dependencies, communicating progress to stakeholders.
