Job summary

Boston Scientific, a global medical technology leader, is seeking a Software Engineer III for its Urology portfolio in a hybrid role. You will contribute to R&D across our product lineup, delivering secure, high-performance software for regulated medical devices.

In this role you will own software development life cycle activities from concept to release, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help ensure quality and cybersecurity compliance in a safety-critical environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of software development experience, with proficiency in C++11 or newer.
• 3+ years of software development experience in medical devices or similarly regulated safety-critical systems.
• Experience with software development lifecycle, architecture/requirements, design, implementation/testing, release documentation, and post-market support.
• Experience with source control, CI/CD, and requirements management tools (Git, Bitbucket, JIRA, Jenkins, Cockpit).

Responsibilities

• Architecture, development, and deployment of software solutions for BSC Urology’s Class-II/Class-III medical devices.
• Growing leadership of efficient, maintainable software development processes, tools, and workflows.
