Cook Inc - Bloomington is seeking a Lead Research and Development Engineer to apply engineering principles to develop medical devices meeting clinical needs, safety, and quality standards in Bloomington, IN.

You will lead medium to large projects, work with SMEs, physicians, and product managers, mentor engineers, and drive design history file documentation while advancing research focus areas with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 7 years' relevant experience.
• Experience in Medical Device or regulated industry is required.
• Project/technical leadership experience.
• Experience mentoring and training employees within an area of expertise.
• Experience working with senior leadership.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) and other local language(s) as applicable.

Responsabilités

• Lead medium to large projects/programs and guide project teams.
• Collaborate across functional departments and provide technical leadership.
• Identify focus areas for research with senior leadership.
• Develop design history files and maintain design documentation.
• Drive innovation and IP generation related to medical devices.
