• Advanced experience in medical claims, billing, accounts receivable, or revenue cycle management.
• Strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement and claims process.
• Experience researching and resolving complex claim denials and payment issues.
• Strong knowledge of insurance payer processes and requirements.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage a high-volume AR workload with thorough documentation.
• Proficient written and verbal communication, HIPAA awareness.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor AR to ensure timely reimbursement.
• Analyze aging reports and prioritize accounts by value and denial risk.
• Develop strategies to reduce outstanding AR and prevent aging.
• Identify denial patterns and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare corrected claims, reconsiderations, and appeals as needed.
• Collaborate with billing, coding, and payer teams to resolve issues.
• Monitor claims through resolution and improve first-pass payment rates.
