Job summary

Aspirion is seeking a Senior Claims Analyst to submit electronic and paper billing and to follow up with third-party carriers for insurance claims. You will verify information for accuracy and completeness, resubmitting as needed, with a focus on physician billing.

This on-site role in Columbus, GA requires 3+ years in healthcare revenue cycle and strong HIPAA knowledge. You will work with insurers, providers, and patients to ensure timely and accurate claims and collections.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in healthcare revenue cycle/medical billing required.
• Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work with EHR and billing software.
• Understanding HIPAA and patient privacy requirements.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Review and submit medical claims to insurance companies and government payers.
• Verify patient demographics, insurance eligibility, and benefits.
• Enter and maintain accurate patient and billing information.
• Review insurance and patient payments posted for accuracy.
• Review denied or rejected claims; submit corrected claims or appeals.
• Follow up on unpaid and underpaid accounts timely.
• Contact insurance companies regarding claim status and payment issues.
• Protect patient information and HIPAA compliance.
• Communicate with attorneys, providers, insurers, and patients regarding billing issues.
• Meet productivity, accuracy, and collection goals.
