Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking a Senior Medical Assistant to lead a clinic team and advance patient care in a fast-paced environment. You will mentor colleagues, drive quality improvements, and advance the full scope of MA responsibilities while maintaining patient-centered care at the Seattle clinic.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school with hands-on MA training.
  • Graduate of an MA apprenticeship program.
  • Two years medical assisting experience in a clinic.
  • Washington MA Certification upon hire.
  • BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Two years customer service experience in a fast paced environment.
  • Six months PSJH clinic experience in the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of medical assistants to deliver high quality patient care.

Required Qualifications
  • Coursework/Training: Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants. Or
  • Coursework/Training: Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program. Or
  • Coursework/Training: Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces. Or
  • Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification.
  • Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • 2 years medical assisting experience in a clinic setting.
  • 2 years Experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast paced environment, including handling confidential data with discretion.
  • 6 months Working experience in a PSJH clinic within the last 3 years
Preferred Qualifications
  • Upon hire: National Medical Assistant Certification
