BJC Medical Group is seeking a full-time Senior Medical Assistant for the OBGYN practice in Creve Coeur. In this role, you will support a physician by performing clinical tasks, taking vital signs, preparing patients, and handling basic lab activities in an outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Performs clinical tasks and basic lab duties under physician supervision.
• Maintains accurate patient records and charting in EHR.
• Demonstrates professional patient care in outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, prepares and stocks supplies in exam rooms.
• Obtains vital signs, patient history and maintains charting.
• Performs phlebotomy, EKGs, point‑of‑care testing and injections.
• Triage calls and relays test results to provider with proper terminology.
• Assists provider by preparing patients for exams and treatments.
