• Past work in pharma, biotech, or life sciences.
• Proven proficiency managing media relations and earned placements.
• Robust network of traditional and online media contacts.
• Strong writing skills and ability to craft compelling messages.

Responsibilities

• Own media relations programs for clients.
• Craft pitches and secure coverage.
• Write press releases, speaking and award submissions, pitches, bylines, case studies, and collateral.
• Cultivate relationships with media, clients, freelancers, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Set media relations strategy and link issues to coverage potential.
• Lead PR campaigns across platforms.
• Coordinate interview process and prep clients.
• Monitor media trends and report to clients.
• Organize communication and reporting between team and client.
• Develop media lists and messaging matrices.
