Job summary

Nixon Peabody LLP seeks a Media Relations Senior Specialist to lead integrated PR strategies elevating the firm’s reputation across litigation, transactional work, pro bono, and firmwide initiatives.

The role partners with Marketing, Communications, Business Development, and attorneys to identify and pitch compelling story angles, securing coverage in mainstream and legal trade outlets, while tracking impact to demonstrate value.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of journalism and/or public relations experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
• Strong writing and editing skills; ability to distill complex information.
• Ability to build relationships with reporters and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated PR strategies to raise the firm’s visibility.
• Identify newsworthy trends and pitch story ideas to target outlets.
• Build relationships with journalists and coordinate interview prep.
• Write press materials and publish coverage across channels.
• Monitor coverage and report on impact and value.
