Job summary

U.S. Soccer Federation seeks a Sr. Coordinator, Media Operations to lead planning and execution of media operations for National Team matches and federation events. You will work with press officers, event operations, broadcast and venue partners to deliver seamless media experiences.

The role requires strong organizational skills, top-tier communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments. Travel up to 50% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in media operations, communications, public relations or event operations.
• Experience supporting media operations at major live sporting events preferred.
• Strong understanding of media operations, accreditation and credentialing.
• Ability to manage logistics and multiple stakeholders in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with project plans, vendors and multi-stream workflows.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute media operations for National Team matches and events.
• Manage media accreditation from application to event day, including credential issues.
• Serve as onsite point of contact for credentialed media.
• Coordinate media facilities, press areas, and photographer and broadcaster needs.
• Develop and distribute media advisories and operational communications.
• Ensure media guidelines and access policies are followed.
• Collaborate with internal teams to integrate media requirements into planning.
• Solve issues in real time during matches and events.
• Build relationships with media operations contacts at venues and agencies.
