Job summary

Podean is seeking a Senior Media Manager to own and lead strategic client engagements across Amazon, Target, Walmart, and other marketplaces. This role requires hands-on management of complex accounts, strategic direction, and a passion for guiding clients and teams to success.

Responsibilities include leading client engagements, coordinating cross-functional teams, developing long-term roadmaps, and driving continuous growth through testing and optimization.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on experience managing Amazon Search and DSP across multiple industries.
• Experience managing Walmart, Target, or other eRetail media campaigns with bidding/management tools.
• Proven ability to lead teams, develop talent, and drive client outcomes.
• Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and strategic thinking with a results focus.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups, charts; VBA a plus).
• Familiarity with PacVue, Sellics, Teikametrics, or Perpetua.

Podean is seeking an experienced Senior Media Manager who will own and lead strategic client engagements across Amazon, Target, Walmart, and other marketplaces. This role demands hands-on expertise managing complex accounts, shaping and executing strategic direction, and a passion for guiding clients and team members to success. As the go-to marketplace media expert, you will unlock opportunities for growth, innovation, and excellence while leading the day-to-day management of client partnerships and growing your media teams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the strategic direction and performance of a portfolio of complex accounts, ensuring strong client outcomes and business growth
• Serve as a combination of primary day-to-day contact for complex clients and escalation for smaller brands with media specialist support
• Leading regular meetings and provide direction to account team, driving efficiency and unity
• Oversee holistic media strategies that align with client business objectives, market trends, and emerging opportunities
• Leverage data and performance insights to inform strategic recommendations, optimize campaigns, and maximize media effectiveness
• Develop and present QBRs and reporting in collaboration with cross-functional teams, translating complex campaign data into a clear, actionable narrative
• Develop long-term strategic roadmaps for clients and lead testing initiatives to drive continuous growth and innovation
• Partner cross-functionally with internal teams to drive alignment, collaboration, and successful execution across account initiatives
• Serve as a trusted advisor by educating clients on industry trends, best practices, and new platform capabilities
• Lead and develop account teams through coaching, mentorship, and strategic guidance to strengthen capabilities and drive high-quality execution
• Develop and improve internal processes that transcend beyond just media
• Develop best practices as a SME and garner buy-in from internal and external teams

Experience

• 6+ years, including hands-on keyboard experience managing Amazon Search and DSP across multiple industries
• Hands-on keyboard management experience on Walmart, Target, or other eRetail media campaigns, and using campaign bidding/management tools.
• Proven ability to manage people, lead teams, and unlock potential in others.
• Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills to deliver measurable results and insights.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, chart building; Visual Basic macros a plus) and familiarity with Amazon tools like PacVue, Sellics, Teikametrics, or Perpetua.
• Strong professional presence and communication skills to influence and inspire clients and teams.
• Ability to multitask across priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong experience in creating and implementing team structures and process improvements
