About the Role

As a Sr. Mechatronics & Robotics Technician, you will lead service technicians in installing and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will support the Operations Maintenance Team by designing solutions for complex problems and managing projects. You will also train and mentor junior technicians and contract technicians.

Key Responsibilities

• Safety: Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot conveyor systems, install and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, sensors, motor starters, limit switches, solenoids, etc.
• Monitoring: Create, assign, and close work orders with data on labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.
• Support: Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures and mentor junior technicians.
• Communication: Maintain positive relationships across all operational areas.

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 4+ years experience with material handling equipment (MHE) such as conveyors and controls
• 4+ years experience with preventative maintenance
• 4+ years reading blueprints and schematics
• 3+ years with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• 2+ years with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
• Experience leading and mentoring technicians
• Vendor management experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Flexible work schedule

Preferred Qualifications

• Associates or higher degree in Mechanical or Electrical fields
• Experience with robotic operation and maintenance

Physical Demands

• Ability to reach overhead, kneel, squat, climb, lift up to 50 lbs, and wear PPE
• Ability to move between departments and work in fluctuating temperature environments
• Regular computer use
