About the Role

The Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician will lead service technicians in installing and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will support the Operations Maintenance Team by designing solutions for complex problems, managing projects, and mentoring junior technicians.

Key Responsibilities

• Safety: Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot conveyor systems, relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, and sensors.
• Monitoring: Create, assign, and close work orders, documenting labor, maintenance, and parts used.
• Support: Lead preventative maintenance and mentor technicians.
• Communication: Maintain positive relationships across the facility.

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 4+ years of experience with material handling equipment and controls
• 4+ years of preventative maintenance experience
• Experience reading blueprints and schematics
• 3+ years with a CMMS
• 2+ years with PLC programming
• Leadership experience supporting and mentoring technicians
• Vendor management experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Project
• Ability to work flexible schedules

Preferred Qualifications

• Vocational or college degree in Mechanical or Electrical fields
• Experience with robotic systems

Physical Demands

• Ability to reach overhead, kneel, squat, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Work with PPE in a warehouse environment
• Movement between departments and floors, covering 6-12 miles daily
• Work in fluctuating temperatures and type on a computer for 1-2 hours daily
