Job summary

JLL in Eau Claire, Wisconsin is seeking a Sr. Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to lead installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will support the Operations Maintenance team by designing solutions for difficult problems and mentoring technicians.

The role emphasizes safety, proactive maintenance, and hands-on leadership in a manufacturing environment with growth opportunities in robotics and CMMS-driven maintenance programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts including weekends/nights/holidays.
• 3+ years of preventative maintenance experience.
• 3+ years of reading blueprints/schematics.
• 2+ years of work order management.

Responsibilities

• Lead service technicians in installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Support Operations Maintenance by designing solutions for difficult problems and managing projects.
• Train and mentor service and contract technicians.
• Create and close out work orders with data on labor hours and parts used.
• Develop training plans for service technicians and emergency repair plans.
