Responsibilities

• Perform controller tuning, performance characterization, and troubleshooting for a variety of precision mechanisms used in the generation of EUV light
• Define test specifications and select, procure, and assemble hardware for mechanism bench testing.
• Run experiments and drive the development of data collection and processing tools.
• Characterize motion performance and mechanism interactions at the integrated light source level.
• Use a combination of testing and analysis to understand observed behavior.
• Define and drive the implementation of improvements if needed.
• Work with a cross‑functional team to bring prototype systems online and participate in the testing of complex calibrations and algorithms.
• Follow the initial systems through Alpha test, delivery and Beta test at one or more customer sites.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

Specific responsibilities include:

• Perform controller tuning, performance characterization, and troubleshooting for a variety of precision mechanisms used in the generation of EUV light

Preferred qualifications: A background in precision motion control with hands‑on experience integrating, testing, and optimizing the performance of complex mechanisms. Experience working with semiconductor equipment in cleanroom environments Working knowledge of Matlab/Simulink tools for controller development and tuning. Demonstrated ability to develop Python scripts for data analysis

Minimum Qualifications

Doctorate (Academic) Degree and 0 years related work experience; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years

Base Pay Range: $117,800.00 - $200,300.00 Annually
