Job summary

TekWissen Group is seeking a Senior Mechatronics Integration Engineer to join the R&D division in Newton, MA for a 12-month onsite assignment. You will work on complex electro-mechanical assemblies, contribute from prototype to verification, and troubleshoot in a regulated medical device environment.

The role requires multidisciplinary expertise (Electrical, Software, Mechanical) and leadership in cross-functional teams, with hands-on development, configuration management, and design

Qualifications

  • 10+ years work experience in complex electromechanical system R&D environment.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Robotics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a close field is desired.
  • Associate's degree with exceptional experience is acceptable.
  • Experience in heavily-regulated industries such as medical device, or aerospace is required.
  • Proficiency with MATLAB, Simulink, or LabVIEW is required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains and upgrade fleet of robotic systems for R&D development, under the design control processes.
  • Performs system configuration management to support system traceability for various R&D and clinical activities.
  • Leads hands-on, disciplined system troubleshooting activities working closely with different disciplines.
  • Authors relevant documents related to process improvements.
  • Develops test methods, protocols, execute tests, prepare reports and release them via ECOs.
