Decisive Point in El Segundo seeks a Senior Mechanisms Engineer responsible for designing and developing crucial mechanisms. You will tackle unique challenges to create efficient systems for a new commercial reactor. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering and 4+ years of relevant experience. The compensation ranges from $133.5K to $207.9K, plus significant benefits including stock options and comprehensive health plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering.
• 4+ years of experience designing mechanisms.
• 4+ years of experience performing stress analysis using both hand calculations and finite element tools.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of critical mechanisms such as the control blade actuator.
• Conduct trade studies and develop designs to meet program requirements.
• Perform detailed thermomechanical and kinematic analysis.
