Dell Technologies' Client Solutions Group (CSG) is seeking a Senior Engineer - Mechanical Engineering Software Tools (Technical Staff) to lead tooling strategy, governance, and expert support for Creo and Windchill across the organization.

You will mentor engineers, partner with IT and ODMs, and influence senior leaders on investment priorities while advancing digital thread, model-based engineering, and tool modernization.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of mechanical engineering or engineering tools administration experience with Creo Parametric and Windchill
• Strong GD&T and engineering drawing knowledge; familiarity with digital thread/digital twin concepts
• Proven ability to debug Creo, Windchill, ANSYS and related tools; analytical problem solving
• Demonstrated leadership to drive CAD governance and forecast tooling needs across org
• Excellent communication; ability to mentor engineers and deliver training and best practices

Responsibilities

• Lead CSG Mechanical Engineering tooling strategy, budgeting and prioritization
• Serve as SME on Creo Parametric and Windchill; assess new versions and engage with PTC
• Provide hands-on support for Creo, Windchill, ANSYS; mentor staff
• Plan and drive Creo education, training and standardized workflows
• Collaborate across IT, ODMs and internal teams to ensure tool integration and digital thread initiatives
