Job summary

The Oklahoma Military Department seeks a Mechanical Systems Technician II to maintain and repair heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related piping systems at Camp Gruber Training Center. Starting salary is $3,985.67 per month ($47,828 per year) with a comprehensive benefits package, holidays and paid leave.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of operation of heating, air-conditioning and refrigeration systems and standard safety precautions.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints and manufacturer manuals.
• Ability to supervise and train assigned work crews.

Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains and repairs HVAC equipment and related components.
• Reads and interprets schematic wiring diagrams, manuals, blueprints and drawings.
• Oversees the work of others including apprentices and technicians.
