Job summary

Loenbro, LLC in Austin, TX, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of commercial and industrial construction projects focused on mechanical and structural scopes.

You will manage budgets, schedules, procurement, resources, subcontractors, and client relations, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time completion while maintaining strong client and team relationships.

Qualifications

Engineering or Construction Management degree preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of experience managing industrial or commercial construction projects.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the Mechanical field.
Experience with scheduling, costing and accounting software.

Responsibilities

Oversee large scale commercial & industrial construction projects from set up to close out related to data center, power generation, renewables, mining, and oil & gas construction industries.
Recruit, manage and lead teams of employees, including Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Project Coordinators.
Supervise daily work of employees and ensure safety, environmental, and contract compliance.
Coordinate labor, equipment and subcontractor resources to ensure timely, cost-effective completion.
Ensure all team members follow company safety and work rules and policies.
Maintain strong client relations and proactive communication with vendors and project teams.

Job Summary

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, execution, and successful delivery of commercial and industrial construction projects, specifically overseeing our mechanical/structural scopes of work. This role oversees all phases of a project, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, resource allocation, subcontractor management, client relations, and project closeout activities. The Project Manager is accountable for ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards and contractual requirements.

Success in this role is demonstrated through strong leadership, effective communication, financial management, and the ability to proactively identify and resolve project challenges while maintaining positive relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and project teams. The Project Manager serves as the primary liaison between field operations, company leadership, and customers, ensuring successful project outcomes and customer satisfaction.

Essential Job Responsibilities

Oversee large scale commercial & industrial construction projects from set up to close out related to the data center, power generation, renewables, mining, and oil & gas construction industries.
Responsible for recruiting, managing and leading teams of employees, including Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Project Coordinators.
Supervises the daily work of employees.
Verifies conformance of finished work product, including overseeing compliance with all contract requirements.
Responsible for ensuring all safety and environmental requirements are met.
Coordination of all labor, equipment, and subcontractor resources with Project subordinates and other Loenbro companies to ensure timely, cost-effective completion of project.
Assures all employees within the team know and follow the company safety and work rules and policies.

Qualifications

Required:

Engineering or Construction Management Degree preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of experience managing industrial or commerical construction projects.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the Mechanical field.

Preferred:

Experience with HCSS Heavy Job or similar job costing program.
Experience with P6 or similar scheduling software.
Experience with Viewpoint or similar account software.
Experience with Heavy Bid or similar estimating software.
Proficient with all Microsoft Office products.
Completion of OSHA or equivalent safety training.
Ability to travel.
Driver’s license with a clean driving record.
