Job summary

ANDRITZ in Neenah, WI is seeking a Mechanical Planner who will oversee mechanical work, manage parts and supplies, and plan shop activities for the mechanical services department.

The role reports to the Neenah Plant Manager Mechanical Services Manager and requires 5–8 years in manufacturing, English, strong leadership, and good communication; Excel and Word skills, plus SolidWorks drawing ability are a plus.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the paper industry.
• Languages: English.
• Must have proven supervisory and leadership abilities.
• Must be an excellent communicator with interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with mechanical and machine repairs is desired.
• Requires knowledge of computers with Excel and Word.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks to create detailed drawings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and order all parts and supplies for individual jobs on an as needed basis.
• Maintain and order inventory for stock items in the mechanical shop.
• Work with the Quality manager to ensure inspection reports are complete and accurate.
• Responsible for all quoting of jobs to customers and sales engineers.
• Provide updates and reports to the Mechanical/Quality manager regarding problems and issues.
• Complete outgoing reports for plain/press roll and suction rolls.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned by management.
