Qualifications

• Education: High School with college degree preferred in engineering subjects.
• Experience: Three years in mechanical supervision.
• Skills: Ability to understand all mechanical equipment and systems.
• Other: Ability to motivate subordinates and communicate well.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the activities of all personnel in the Mechanical Maintenance Department.
• Maintain ISO Quality System responsibilities.
• Schedule and coordinate mechanical maintenance shutdowns, repairs and construction work with other departments.
• Issue requisitions for repair parts and supplies in cooperation with other departments.
• Direct administration of company policy and programs for performance, training, safety and morale.
• Enforce company rules and disciplina; maintain maintenance discipline and union-management agreements.
• Keep Maintenance Manager informed of current and long-range maintenance problems and plans.
• Assist in preparing cost estimates for work orders and budgets.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records for all machinery and buildings.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and suppliers.
