Job summary

Valdes Architecture & Engineering is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical design across municipal infrastructure, water and wastewater, building systems, industrial facilities, and life sciences projects in the United States.

The role entails independent project leadership from planning and conceptual design through construction and commissioning, coordinating multidisciplinary interfaces, and delivering technically sound designs that meet codes and client

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 6+ years of progressively responsible mechanical engineering experience.
• Ability to travel to client and project sites as required.
• Experience leading mechanical scopes on multidisciplinary projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design activities and develop project criteria, calculations and drawings.
• Coordinate mechanical interfaces with other engineering disciplines and review deliverables.
• Manage mechanical scope, schedule, budget and technical deliverables.
• Perform field investigations and support commissioning and startup.
