Job summary

ExxonMobil is seeking a Mechanical Integrity professional for Beaumont, TX, focused on managing risk-based inspection programs, troubleshooting, asset improvement, and technology selection at a fixed equipment petrochemical facility.

The role emphasizes planning, execution of RBI, thickness/fitness assessments, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure Safety, Reliability and Environmental performance. Requires a B.S. in relevant engineering and 5+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Required B.S. (or higher) Degree in Mechanical, Materials, Corrosion Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years experience with Mechanical Integrity in a Petrochemical facility.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of unit risk based inspection program
• Work selection recommendations
• Planning inspections with appropriate coverage and NDE techniques
• Analysis of inspection results and recommended future actions
• Perform mechanical analysis of required thickness and fitness for service assessments
• Respond to plant operational events
• Provide repair and replacement specifications
• Analyze site fixed equipment performance
• Drive site asset improvement in Safety, Reliability, Environmental Performance and Equipment Capability and Efficiency in a team setting
• Support capital projects and minor modifications in design consulting, QA, and start-up assistance
• Communicate with Inspection, Maintenance, Process, and Operations teams daily
