Base pay range

$150,000.00/yr - $220,000.00/yr

One of the nation's top MEP Engineering firms in the area is currently seeking a Senior Mechanical (HVAC) Engineer who will be a leader in the department, supervise staff's day-to-day responsibilities, and lead projects by interfacing with clients, providing technical excellence, and managing project teams and schedules.

Job Details

• This is a hybrid role, 3 days remote, 2 days in office.
• Manage and mentor staff in technical knowledge and career development.
• Lead mechanical engineering and design on projects; serve as engineer of record.
• Provide QA/QC services in alignment with the firm.
• Oversee load calculations, systems design, cross-discipline coordination, signing and sealing contract documents.
• Perform engineering studies for highly technical clients, including phased system loading, payback analysis, and industry trend knowledge.
• Engaged in all project phases, including HVAC system design for facilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in architectural engineering consulting.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
• Expertise in mechanical discipline and knowledge of related disciplines.
• Extensive HVAC system engineering experience across various building types.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, Trane Trace, etc.
• Proven ability to manage clients and represent the firm in meetings.
• Experience leading full design teams with sufficient revenue management.
