We are looking for an experienced, high‑energy HVAC Designer to join our Building Mechanical team and design HVAC solutions for heavy industrial clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field investigations, interface with clients and vendors, and prepare construction design packages.
• Layout and design HVAC systems, including chilled water, cooling water and other systems.
• Develop conceptual and preliminary design documents, perform sizing and selection calculations, create Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs), Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and general arrangements.
• Produce final construction documents and coordinate with other disciplines to meet client needs.
• Manage schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks, and collaborate with a multi‑discipline, highly interactive team.

Qualifications

• At least ten (10) years’ experience in designing HVAC systems for industrial facilities.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Thorough knowledge of codes and standards for HVAC design.
• Ability to adapt within a fast‑paced team environment and meet multiple deadlines.
• Strong collaboration skills, including remote team communication.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AutoCAD, Carrier HAP, Trane Trace 700 and Trane Trace 3D.
• Experience designing plumbing/utility systems.

The base salary range for this position is $123,600.00 to $170,000.00. Pay is determined by location and experience.
