This leader will oversee the mechanical engineering function, develop engineering standards, lead technical teams, and support major capital projects from concept through commissioning and startup.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering — Required.
• 12+ years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Experience in chemical processing, petrochemical, refining, energy or related industries.
• Significant experience with rotating and static equipment.
• Experience supporting large capital projects from concept/FEED through commissioning and startup.
• Experience leading mechanical engineering teams or disciplines.
• Experience managing work by EPC contractors, engineering consultants and equipment vendors.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering standards and codes, including ASME and API.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop the Mechanical Engineering team and SMEs.
• Serve as the senior technical authority for mechanical engineering decisions.
• Establish mechanical engineering standards, specifications, design criteria, and best practices.
• Provide technical leadership throughout FEL/FEED, detailed design, construction, commissioning and startup.
• Review and approve engineering work performed by EPC firms, consultants, contractors, and equipment vendors.
• Support equipment selection, mechanical integrity, reliability, troubleshooting and lifecycle management.
• Standardize mechanical designs and equipment specifications for future plant deployments.
• Partner with Process, Electrical, I&C, Operations, Reliability, Procurement, Construction, and Project Management teams.
