Job summary

Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of advanced mechanical test systems in Tucson.

You will develop solutions for production testing environments including vibration, thermal, hydraulic, RF, and electro-optical systems, leveraging ProE/CREO Parametric and GD&T. 3-5 years of mechanical design experience is required, with strong emphasis on test equipment integration and rigorous documentation and configuration

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design and test equipment.
• Expertise in CAD modeling (ProE/CREO Parametric) and geometric dimensioning and tol. (GD&T).
• Experience integrating test systems for production testing under vibration, thermal, RF and electro-optical environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, documentation, and maintenance of advanced mechanical test systems.

The Senior Mechanical Engineer - Test Equipment role involves leading the design, development, documentation, and maintenance of advanced mechanical test systems for products. This includes creating innovative solutions for production testing environments such as vibration, thermal, hydraulic, radio frequency, and electro-optical systems. The role requires expertise in mechanical design, CAD modeling (ProE/CREO Parametric), geometric dimensioning and tolerance analysis, and configuration management. By integrating and validating test systems to meet stringent performance and reliability standards, the Senior Mechanical Engineer contributes to delivering cutting-edge solutions that support the mission to create a safer, more secure world. 3-5 years of experience required.
