Job summary

Wall Colmonoy is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to research, plan, and design mechanical and electromechanical products and systems, coordinating fabrication, operation, installation, and repair activities.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred) and at least 10 years in manufacturing or industrial engineering, with strong CAD skills and project management experience. Strong communication and collaboration with customers and teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in manufacturing, materials, or mechanical engineering; master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering, machine design, manufacturing process development, value engineering or product engineering.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• 3D modeling and drafting skills.
• Strong knowledge of precision tools and measuring equipment.
• Project management experience and related skills.

Responsibilities

• Researches and analyzes data from customer design proposals and specifications to determine feasibility of design or application.
• Designs products or systems such as heat transfer equipment, aircraft exhaust components, tooling and test equipment.
• Creates manufacturing plans and bills of material in WCC manufacturing software.
• Directs fabrication and installation activities to ensure conformance to design and customer specs.
• Coordinates operation, maintenance, and repair to optimize machine and equipment use.
• Designs products to interface machines, hardware, and software.
• Evaluates field installations and recommends design modifications to prevent Malfunctions.
