Job summary

Selectek is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Phoenix, AZ. In this onsite role, you will take charge of mechanical system design for semiconductor facilities, including HVAC systems and utility connections. With a base salary of $130,000–$160,000, you will benefit from comprehensive health and retirement plans, professional development support, and generous PTO.

You will engage in detailed analyses, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and mentorship of junior engineers to drive technical excellence and innovative solutions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive experience in mechanical systems design for contamination-controlled environments.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Arizona or eligibility within six months.
• Demonstrated expertise in HVAC systems and process utility systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the mechanical authority on projects, ensuring system-level integrity.
• Perform detailed analyses to optimize system performance and energy efficiency.
• Drive coordination across multi-discipline teams for complex projects.
• Mentor junior engineers and shape the next generation of leaders.
