Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Experience communicating technical concepts with clear language and visuals.
• Experience defining system architectures and exploring tradeoffs.
• Experience building prototypes to advance design thinking.
• SolidWorks CAD experience and good practices for complex assemblies.
• Understanding of mechanical engineering principles and product design.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to take designs from concept to production.
• Coordinate with Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Quality for launches and sustaining.
• Write requirements, functional specs, design verification plans, and test procedures.
• Demonstrate thorough engineering analysis and cradle-to-grave ownership.
• Design holistic hardware solutions for ambiguous problems with fluid requirements.
• Partner with vendors and integrators to deliver automation solutions.
• Create design of experiments and lead cross-functional automation efforts.
