Job summary

Epta Group in Columbus, GA is seeking a Mechanical Engineer III to lead structural design and reliability for refrigerated display cases. You will prepare analyses, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive design for manufacturability and compliance with UL/NSF/DOE standards.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering with 5+ years of related experience, strong CAD and structural analysis skills, and excellent communication. Remote work is possible where feasible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience.
• Strong knowledge of structural design and testing.
• Experience with reliability design and testing.
• Proficiency with CAD and structural analysis software.
• SAP knowledge is a plus.
• HVAC&R experience is desirable.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design specifications and analyses for approval.
• Oversee design and development projects from concept to production.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including drafters and shop personnel.
• Design for manufacturability, assembly and reliability.
• Conduct independent technical investigations and testing of refrigerated cases.
