Job summary

JustBacked is seeking a propulsion systems integration engineer in Huntington Beach to lead mechanical integration of propulsion hardware from concept through prototype, testing and production.

You will perform analyses, resolve mechanical and environmental interfaces, support system testing and produce technical documentation, with a bachelor’s degree and at least five years’ related experience.

• Minimum five years of mechanical, aerospace, or propulsion engineering experience.
• Relevant bachelor's degree required.
• Strong 3D CAD and GD&T skills.
• Knowledge of propulsion mechanical systems.

Job description

Own mechanical integration of propulsion systems from concept through prototype, testing, qualification, and production, including interfaces, packaging, and hardware design. Perform engineering analyses, resolve mechanical and environmental interface issues, support system testing, and produce technical documentation.

Requirements:

Requires at least five years of mechanical, aerospace, or propulsion engineering experience, a relevant bachelor's degree, strong 3D CAD and GD&T skills, and knowledge of propulsion mechanical systems. Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree, analysis and programming experience, and direct experience integrating propulsion hardware such as tanks, pumps, valves, and fluid lines.
