BAE Systems is seeking a proactive Sr. Mechanical Engineer with analytical capabilities and demonstrated technical expertise. This individual will support the design, development, integration/test, and production of dynamic electronic military systems. The engineer will work closely with hardware integrated into complex countermeasure and electromagnetic attack solutions, including electronic warfare systems. The candidate should be a self-starter with development experience working with integrated military electronic hardware and test equipment.
The selected candidate will execute tasks both individually and within small, dynamic teams through production and sustainment phases, possibly including concept development, detailed design, qualification, and manufacturing transition. Responsibilities include solving production issues, developing robust hardware solutions, performing detailed design and analyses, root cause activities, and close collaboration with manufacturing teams and suppliers. Activities involve generating 3D models, drawings, documentation, performing tolerance, thermal, structural, vibration analyses, and developing prototypes for testing.
The role requires partnering with other engineering disciplines and operations to develop solutions adhering to UPC, DFT, and DFM standards. The engineer will also support resolution of technical issues during manufacturing and testing, including troubleshooting faults, assessing test failures, and designing test equipment.

Salary range: $89,650 - $152,460. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401(k), insurance, paid time off, and more. This full-time position is onsite at our location.
