EQ3 in Reno, NV is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to own the design, build, and test of major systems in our power plants. You will set the technical direction for subsystems and drive architecture from concept through fabrication and commissioning.

You have 6+ years of hands-on experience with high‑power machinery, strong CAD skills, and a track record delivering end-to-end hardware projects. You will mentor teammates and collaborate with vendors to move fast.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of mechanical engineering experience, with end-to-end design, fabrication, and testing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on experience with high‑power machinery and assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Own major subsystems end to end from concept to as-built.
• Produce 3D CAD layouts and lead design reviews with stakeholders.
• Drive designs with drawings and specs for fabrication partners.
• Lead test campaigns, root-cause investigations, and design iterations.
