Job summary

Vantage MedTech is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Olathe, KS to design, fabricate, and test mechanical components for state-of-the-art medical devices. You will lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with electrical and firmware engineers to deliver robust, production-ready solutions.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience in mechanical design and a strong background in CAD, FEA, and design for manufacturing, with an emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years of industry experience in design, development and testing of mechanical systems.
• Ability to generate mechanical architecture and componentry concepts for complex systems.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in CAD modelling SW.
• Understand GD&T and tolerance stack-ups.
• Experience with design for manufacturing, assembly, and cost.

Responsibilities

• Design, fabricate, and test mechanical components for medical devices.
• Develop prototypes and production-ready assemblies.
• Lead mechanical design reviews and collaborate with electrical/firmware teams.
• Prepare documentation for manufacturing transfer and regulatory submission.
• Provide senior technical leadership and mentoring to the Mechanical Team.
