Job summary

LVI Associates, a multidisciplinary, employee-owned engineering firm, seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead design and technical directions for complex building projects across healthcare, education, data centers, multifamily and commercial sectors in Los Angeles.

This role offers significant design authority, mentorship opportunities, and exposure to project management while helping grow a dynamic mechanical engineering team and shaping the firm’s future growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• PE License required.
• 10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering within an MEP consulting environment.
• Strong HVAC and plumbing design experience.
• Experience with Revit and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Leading HVAC and plumbing system design from concept through construction.
• Serving as a technical resource and mentor for a growing mechanical engineering team.
• Managing complex building projects across healthcare, education, multifamily, commercial, and mission-critical sectors.
• Helping expand the firm's presence in healthcare, education, and data cell markets.
