Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of mechanical design and product development experience.
• Expertise with ANSYS FEA and design validation.
• Proficiency in CATIA and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of mechanical components and assemblies balancing performance, reliability, cost, and manufacturability.
• Create and review 3D models and drawings using CATIA; apply GD&T and tolerance analysis.
• Perform structural and modal analyses using ANSYS FEA; define material properties, loads, contacts, and boundaries.
• Verify simulation results with engineering calculations and validate against physical tests; document limitations and recommendations.
• Select materials and manufacturing processes; apply DfX to improve quality and reduce cost.
• Lead prototype builds, test planning, design validation, and root cause investigations; implement corrective actions.
• Lead design reviews, mentor engineers, coordinate with suppliers and internal teams, manage design releases.
