Job summary

Lake Superior Consulting is seeking a Mechanical Engineer IV to join our team in Houston, TX. The successful candidate will lead mechanical design of facilities and systems for energy projects from inception to delivery, perform analyses, and guide junior staff.

PE licensure is highly desired; EIT is required for this role. The position requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, 6+ years of experience, and ability to work on diverse energy facilities with limited travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• 6+ years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer licensure strongly preferred; EIT required.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design on projects including pipelines, processing sites, and energy facilities.
• Develop reports and interface with clients; guide junior personnel.
• Read, interpret, and develop P&ID drawings, schematics, and specs.
• Lead project teams to timely, accurate execution.
