Job summary

The candidate will mentor junior staff, contribute to white papers, and participate in industry conférences to promote CDM Smith's services and solutions. Travel is involved. This is a full-time, hybrid role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical, architectural, or chemical engineering or related discipline.
• EIT or FE exam in states where EIT is not obtainable within 18 months of hire.
• 5 years of related experience; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop HVAC and plumbing systems including master planning and feasibility studies.
• Review designs for compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Perform site reviews to align designs with location specs and update requirements.
• Develop technical papers and design documentation for knowledge management and publishing.
• Attend conferences to enhance visibility and collaborate with sales teams.
