Job summary

H.F. Lenz Company is seeking a registered Senior Mechanical Engineer experienced in HVAC and building systems design. The role leads mechanical, HVAC, plumbing and fire protection design and reports to the Lancaster, PA office.

Working with Principals in Charge, you will manage projects across healthcare, higher education and commercial markets, travel to local sites, and mentor engineering staff.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 6+ years in HVAC/Mechanical building system design.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) registration required.

Responsibilities

• Consult with Principals in Charge on proposals and project scopes.
• Coordinate HVAC and mechanical design production to meet quality standards.
• Review and approve project documents for accuracy.
• Manage staff and client communications throughout the design process.
• Travel to local project sites; some overnight travel.
