Job summary

WSP is seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer for our Orlando, Tampa or Sunrise office to lead the mechanical design on complex healthcare, pharmaceutical, life sciences, labs and industrial projects from design through close-out, with a focus on sustainability and energy performance.

You will oversee multi-project design delivery, interface with clients, manage budgets and schedules, ensure code compliance, and guide a cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 7–10 years of post-education mechanical design experience.
• Proven experience with HVAC system design and controls.
• Experience with Revit and AutoCAD.
• P.E. license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage mechanical design on multiple projects.
• Interface with clients and attend project meetings.
• Participate full project cycle from design to close-out.
• Provide mechanical system expertise: air distribution, hydronic, and controls design.
• Prepare technical reports, budgets, and schedules.
