We are looking for an experienced engineer to join our Nashville, TN Energy Solutions office. Our division specializes in performance contracting, and the ideal candidate is self-motivated, client-focused, and technically skilled to lead all project phases. Engineers with strong HVAC design and commissioning backgrounds can transition into energy engineering within our group.

The Senior Engineer will lead performance contracts from conception to completion, serving as the primary client contact. Key responsibilities include:

1. Introducing and explaining performance contracting to potential clients.
2. Communicating CMTA's unique approach to performance contracting.
3. Leading development activities such as site visits, audits, and energy calculations.
4. Overseeing the engineering design team for drawings and specifications.
5. Managing the bidding process.
6. Developing final contracts with clients.
7. Collaborating with construction managers to ensure smooth project execution.
8. Directing the commissioning process.
9. Participating in warranty phases as needed.
10. Working with M&V professionals on the first-year M&V report.

Required Experience:

• At least 5 years of experience with an Energy Services company or a consulting engineering/commissioning firm.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
