Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of design experience.
• Experience in electro-mechanical product design and validation.
• Apply lean design and six sigma for manufacturing plastic injection molded components, metal stampings and mechanical parts.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of Electro-Acoustics products; boom assemblies, Electret Mics, mic capsules, hearing protection, intercom systems, and helmet mounted products for civilian and military applications.
• Design, document and test new products and subsystem components.
• Drive system capability forward on current and next generation products.
• Develop the best innovative solutions to enhance product portfolio.
• Prepare/Create 3-D models, sub-assemblies, final assemblies, detail drawings with material specs and BOMs.
• Coordinate validation/testing of samples and interface with key vendors.
• Prepare and present engineering data to senior management and participate in design review meetings.
• Transition products into high volume production.
