Job summary

One Stop Systems in Escondido, CA, seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical design and analysis for high‑performance computing systems in edge environments. You will drive liquid cooling and thermal management strategies across interdisciplinary teams to meet strict environmental requirements.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in mechanical engineering with electro-mechanical devices and liquid-cooled thermal management systems.
• Experience with heat transfer, air-cooling, structural dynamics, and vibration isolation.
• Knowledge of vibration, heat transfer, fatigue life, dynamics, statics, and fluid dynamics.
• Ability to prototype structural frames, enclosures, and thermal systems.
• Experience writing engineering specifications and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Innovate and integrate liquid cooling for high-heat-producing electronics.
• Analyze electromechanical systems for environmental requirements compliance.
• Lead qualification testing on prototype assemblies to verify environmental compliance.
• Work with suppliers to source rapid prototype hardware.
• Create prototype assembly instructions and work with technicians to build and test designs.
• Establish thermal and mechanical requirements for heating and cooling in thermal management units and interface with suppliers.
• Establish structural requirements for shock and vibration in transportable environments.
