Job summary

Intrepid Global Solutions is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design, analyze, and implement mechanical systems supporting classified intelligence and national security missions in the Bethesda area.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of hands-on experience and is comfortable working in high-security environments; active Top Secret SCI with poly is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on mechanical engineering experience.
• Experience in classified or high-security environments is highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and analyze mechanical systems, components, and assemblies.
• Conduct engineering assessments, failure analyses, and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical solutions.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, schematics, and CAD models.
• Support prototyping, testing, and validation of mechanical systems.
• Ensure designs comply with standards, safety regulations, and mission requirements.
