This is a hands‑on technical leadership opportunity for an engineer who enjoys owning complex projects, solving challenging HVAC problems, and staying connected to construction through implementation. The successful candidate will have meaningful influence over mechanical design decisions, project execution, and the development of engineering teams while working on facilities where cooling performance, resiliency, and uptime are essential. The source role includes responsibility spanning engineering design, construction support, project leadership, and customer interaction.

This Role Offers:

  • Competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.
  • Broad project involvement from early design and engineering through construction and final delivery.
  • Direct collaboration with facility owners, contractors, engineers, and other project stakeholders.
  • A visible senior‑level position with opportunities to mentor engineering talent and influence design quality.
  • Exposure to challenging commercial, industrial, and data center projects requiring practical, performance‑focused engineering.

Focus:

  • Lead mechanical design for mission‑critical and data center projects from early concepts through construction support and final delivery.
  • Design commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including chilled‑water systems, rooftop equipment, hydronic piping, ductwork, and air distribution.
  • Develop load calculations, equipment selections, drawings, specifications, and bid‑ready design packages for complex mechanical systems.
  • Collaborate with owners, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to resolve technical challenges and coordinate project requirements.
  • Provide on‑site construction support, including installation reviews, project meetings, change evaluation, and field coordination.
  • Manage multiple projects while maintaining alignment with scope, schedule, budget, design quality, and client expectations.
  • Mentor engineers and designers, perform technical reviews, and promote high standards for accuracy, constructability, and engineering performance.
  • Prepare project estimates and proposals while applying relevant mechanical and building standards and utilizing tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Project, and Trane Tracer.

Skill Set:

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) required.
  • 10 or more years of consulting engineering or HVAC construction experience, including substantial commercial or industrial HVAC system design responsibilities.
  • Hands‑on design background with chillers, rooftop units, piping networks, and ductwork required.
