Job summary

Ingenium Technologies Corp. is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for aerospace/defense in Carlsbad, CA. You will design, develop, and qualify complex mechanical systems and electro-mechanical assemblies within a collaborative program team.

Responsibilities include data package creation, prototyping, testing, and leading design reviews. Requires 5–10 years in precision/mechatronic design, Creo CAD, and a TS/SCI style clearance; relocation is available.

Qualifications

• Active TS or TS/SCI clearance required.
• 5–10 years in design or development of precision mechanisms or mechatronic systems.
• CAD experience with Creo; understanding GD&T (ASME Y14.5).
• Experience with additive manufacturing and design for manufacture/assembly a plus.
• Familiarity with actuators, gear trains, electro-optical systems, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and qualify complex mechanical systems and electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Generate Technical Data Package components and test plans.
• Prototype, integrate, and test parts; conduct component and system evaluations.
• Participate in design reviews (PDRs/CDRs) and cross-functional teams.
• Direct Designers/Technicians/Operators within a project team; support field testing.
