You will analyze customer specifications for feasibility and cost, assist drafters in developing structural designs, and work with cross-functional teams to meet timelines. The ideal candidate has a BS in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of experience, is a self-starter with strong communication,

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering; Master’s degree a plus.
• 5+ years of work experience.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.
• Experience with MAG markets a plus.
• Knowledge of CAD and GD&T; FEA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical aspects of antenna products and tooling.
• Perform structural and thermal analyses.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to transition designs to production.
• Analyze customer specs to evaluate feasibility and cost for proposals.
• Assist drafters using CAD tools to develop structural designs.
• Coordinate with internal teams to meet customer expectations.
• Address issues to meet project timelines.
