Job summary

Neon Aero in Costa Mesa, CA seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and integration of complex mechanical and electromechanical systems for next‑gen hardware. You’ll own subsystems end‑to‑end, drive production readiness, and collaborate across propulsion, environmental control, energy management, and related technologies.

You’ll work hands‑on to turn requirements into scalable, manufacturable hardware, guided by constraints, risk, and cost targets.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in developing and shipping mechanical products.
• Experience designing and integrating mechanical/electromechanical systems for production.
• Strong proficiency with Siemens NX and GD&T fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical system design and integration across multi‑domain programs.
• Own a subsystem end‑to‑end from architecture to production release.
• Industrialize parts with suppliers and manufacturing teams, including first article builds.
